Like, have fun with it, but know it’s completely invalid scientifically. I like having it paired with a Hogwarts test here because they are equally useful. I’m posting this not to ruin anyone’s fun, but because even though the idea of fitting people into 16 boxes isn’t scientifically sound, there still are companies that use it in personnel decisions. If you’d like to get some insight into your personality traits, look up the Big 5/OCEAN/CANOE inventory which can be helpful. For instance, I learned I’m very agreeable (aka a people pleaser) and can try to recognize that when I’m making a decision and think about if I’m doing something because it’s good for me or if really I’m avoiding conflict.

Ouuu I actually did do the OCEAN thing earlier this year and it read me like a BOOK. I just don’t remember what it explicitly said 😢😢. Do you have the link? and you know what, yeah, I heard that mbti wasn’t as accurate as a lot of other tests. But it’s just for fun haha

@PISCESPRINCESS07 Here are a couple. I haven't tried these particular ones, though. https://bigfive-test.com https://openpsychometrics.org/tests/IPIP-BFFM/

i’ve had to do so many different personality tests for work and low key there is no difference between a strengths/aptitude/personality test and astrology and the like. one just happens to be packaged up in corporate lingo and is thus more socially acceptable. personally, i trust the movement and placements of the planets more than i do tests that measure my extroversion or whatever.

first of all these traits aren’t immutable I used to score much higher in neuroticism and lower in extraversion. Probably lower in agreeableness my misanthropy has softened with time and effort. Openness describes how open you are to new experiences and ways of thinking and your capacity and willingness to engage in abstract thought. Conscientiousness is thoughtfulness, impulse control, goal-oriented behavior, and ability to work within structure; this is a highly valued trait in leadership. Extraversion is obviously how much you put yourself out there in the world and enjoy the company of other people. Agreeableness is pretty much a measure of how well you function within society and show emotional connection to and consideration for others, exhibiting prosocial behavior. And neuroticism is an overall tendency towards negative emotions like anxiety, fear, depression, or paranoia. So I think the results you get from this test can be a great steppingstone for evaluating the way you orient yourself in the world, your motivations, the internal processes you make decisions from, and also things you could work on changing or expanding

tells you how you process emotions during arguments, love, fear, etc. pretty eye opening stuff and i like how it breaks down each emotion to its core feeling but it also humbled me extremely well so btw i got “The Observer” so yall go try it and tell me whatcha got

The occupation persists, the oppression persists, the torture persists. The occupiers are psychotic and their work is never finished. People who’ve paid attention won’t be surprised by this photo from Gaza.

I’m 50, I say because that makes me unusual in this context. I paid [redacted] for a ticket to the Eras Tour after listening to tswift for 3 weeks, and it was worth it. In second grade my teacher gave kids birthday spankings over her knee, and in sixth grade my teacher told my mom I hadn’t blossomed yet. I’m a good friend, mostly to people on the internet. I’m good at conversing with strangers. I’m usually the oldest person at the show but don’t feel like it. I’m good at being helpful. I’m sarcastic and funny and make myself laugh. I’m a good graphic designer and a conscientious driver. I’m a good photographer and I can successfully follow recipes. I don’t use my Peloton enough. I did a lot of caregiving for my mom for several years, and we enjoyed spending time together even if it was mostly in waiting rooms and my car. The fastest I ever ran a mile was eight minutes and six seconds. I drove the same car for 20 years and then replaced it with another one. I enjoy tipping, giving money to people on the street and Disneyland. I am a fan of baseball, Formula 1 racing and the Criterion Channel. I solve about 80% of New York Times crosswords. I take Prozac and Wellbutrin, and take Trazodone to sleep through the night. I wish I had a glassed in solarium so I could sleep in it on rainy nights. I would like to have a pet cat and a garage. I could happily live eating only cereal and fruit. I overshare on the internet and undershare elsewhere. ✌️💛
