i think this guy is painfully underrated. been revisiting this album a lot recently. his lyricism is some of my favorite. his dual role as a comedian comes through quite a lot but it transcends that somehow, some of these songs are still so raw and vulnerable just with a lingering humor to soften it. incredible stuff. also the vinyl is pink

Mouth By Mouth - His Name Is Alive

A really cool diverse record that a friend recommended. I love albums that don’t restrict themselves to a formula. This album does a lot of interesting exploration that keeps things pretty fresh.

cities aviv is a transcendent genius and one of my favorite artists ever & this was the album that made me fall in love with him… i just love longform records like 30-40 minutes of music in one song??? crazy. #mustlisten

SONGS I WISH I COULD HEAR FOR THE FIRST TIME AGAIN:

Aphex Twin - Windowlicker. One of the most unique songs ever, period. Alice In Chains - Rooster. Incredible story, beautiful composition, amazing vocals, possibly one of the greatest rock songs ever. MF DOOM - Kon Queso. Sort of a deeper cut, but it’s definitely one of my favorite DOOM songs, I absolutely love the beat, lyricism, and sampling. Honestly the whole album I wish I could hear for the first time again.
