I listen to music most of the time im in a car but sometimes it’s nice to sit in silence and concentrate on the world around me.
I might hum a song, think deeply, maybe listen to the concerning noises my car is making…
sometimes music is needed. sometimes audiobook/podcast is needed. i swear to you sometimes driving in silence is needed. the time flies and you go so deep into your thoughts it’s transcendent
when you are feeling intense emotion and are unable to release it and also don't have a therapist i find that sitting in silence in your car is just about the next best thing. it it happening right now to me and there is even a car in front of me with a wacky license plate that i get to look at. How fun!
What’s better than getting your legs pumping, feeling wind through your hair, and not being on your phone??
Note: maybe don’t swing where there are little kids playing - it might seem creepy
If it’s normal to take a lunch break or a coffee break, why shouldn’t it be normal to take a nap break? Sometimes work is a lot and I just need a 20 minute nap to get some more energy for the rest of the day.
