i love recommendation apps… it’s like a mixture of arena and substack in a way that it‘s just a small community of people recommending articles, videos, etc of anything under the sun… really helping me fix my ! attention span !

I find it boring when people only recommend abstract thoughts. (It's not like I'm above it, I've done it before and I'll do it again), but if that's the only thing you recommend, you might want to go to twitter or whatever place is replacing that site right now 😒. EDIT (2025): at this point, these are not even recs, it's just you displaying your thoughts.

honestly id recommended it just for the amount of reading material available on there. huuuuge collections curated by real people and not some algorithm.
it’s technically free to browse and use (up until you hit 200 blocks- then its around 7dlls a month, which id argue isnt much since your attention isn’t the product as opposed to say, pinterest with all those lame ads)
you can connect and upload pretty much anything imaginable and there are so many cool channels to browse through and learn and get inspiration from.
i dont think my explanation does it justice so just check it out for yourself!
