NOTES BELOW:
Yakui the Maid’s Goodnight World is haunting and beautiful in a way I have yet to see recreated— it is dark, ambient, grayscale and robotic like nothing I’ve heard before. It is exactly how I would imagine the artistic interpretation of a dying machine, and it feels like a fever dream inside of a computer. I would highly recommend this album if you are interested in more mainstream artists like Nero’s Day at Disneyland or Metaroom. It is one of my new favorite albums!
