Winner of Best Music Video at the 8th Jim Thorpe Independent Film Festival! I came up with the idea to walk around the city in a sopping wet business suit, and my friends and I filmed it in one weekend. I was cold. Kinda fun tho. We filmed a shot in front of the Philly Freemason building and they kicked us out cus they thought i was gonna light myself on fire 🤪 Click here to watch on Youtube!

I filmed a music video with 7 of my friends just south of Quebec City, Quebec in the remote village of Armagh. It was pretty unplanned as we were actually just going there because our friend Mary Chen was doing a photoshoot with Taylor and Mila and suggested we make a music video while we were there. so the day before the trip I asked my friends Mira, Ellie & Oscar to bring a camera we could use, and I brought 3 more. In total we had shots from 5 cameras, 2 digicams, 1 hi-8, 1 DSLR and one camera I dont really know what to name it (I dont really know much about cameras). When we pulled up after the 4 hour drive from Montreal (Thanks Liam) I started looking for spots on google maps, I found some rapids that looked cool so we went the next day while the girls were shooting. The location turned out to be way more than just rapids, in walking distance there were like 5 different uniques areas that we were able to film at. My favorite locations had to be the ATV track that had a big pile of garbage mixed in with what seemed like metal wire. Why was there so much metal wire? Why was it set on fire (from the look of it)? It was perfect. While walking there we came across a beautiful field of lichen (I had never seen lichen like that before) it was incredible, these white green coral looking things growing from the ground leading to basically a cliff (the one I jump off at the end of the video). I tried sitting on it and laying down but my butt got all wet so I just put it on my head instead. There were other locations, but those ones struck me the most. The video came out pretty cool to me.

hi! matzi here ^.< I wanted to post and share lastest form of self expression, a video edit! I love this one, i made it in bed from like 11am to 2am one night. My best ideas come at night right before bed lol especially when it comes to music, I hear hella melodies in my head before bed, but this time I got this! I’ve been feeling very creative, I’ve been having a lot of ideas. So many people and things around me inspire me all the time. Living in Los Angeles has really expanded my brain in ways I never thought before. But anyway here’s this video edit I made with Orion, a very important person in my life, in the best way. They really are someone I feel very aligned with creatively. ✰༄ I was able to help style some pieces and take video for this shoot. The head wrap was Orions idea, she showed me some inspo and wanted to wrap like 4 wet tanks around her head to make a headpiece. She left this up to me and well, quite frankly according to my calculations, I ate that assignment UP! I love the way it came out. I don’t know what this editing style would be considered, but I had no inspo and just did what felt right with it. check it! WET REMIX

Instead of one device doing many things terribly, have many devices that do one thing very well. engaging fully with one activity. My camera cant play games. my mp3 player cant make calls. My sketch book cant lowball people on depop. Nature is healing

local music scenes often suck because everyones trying to sell you something. A band is trying to get tiktok famous, a promoter is trying to make money, clout has poisoned the well that art drinks from. Just find a spot, ask friends to bring amps and drums, tell everyone to get there at 7 and listen to your buddies play music. literally anyone can do it. it can be alot to manage and be responsible for but its worth it
