I found this at the vintage flea and it sent me down a rabbit hole. This is called The Swan Boat of Galadriel. She is the artist behind a LOT of sci-fi/fantasy book covers, and some of her art was in Saddam Hussein's collection (random!).
I really love this illustrative style. Artists like Rowena, Bruce Vallejo, Frank Frazetta, Jeffrey Catherine Jones, and others create very rich and immersive artwork that should not be overlooked!

My favorite artist. Wendy Froud is an American sculptor best known for sculpting Yoda in Star Wars: The Emperor Strikes Back.
She genuinely brings magic to this earth. Her sculptures are unreal. If you like fantasy, more specifically fairies, you should definitely check out her work.

I love the intricacies of Swoon’s artwork. She started out as primarily a wheat paste artist but her work has grown into more different types of media and even installations over the years.
I also really enjoy Neck face’s work!

she’s a self taught artist and i’ve been obsessed. i even love the way she titles her work…pictured here are “tea for a very special girl”, “where are you taking me“ and “listen kitty, i live among the creatures of the night, i haven’t got the will to try and fight”

This is so serious and not cool-fun and I'm sorry, but I beat breast cancer last year (yay 🙌🏼) and the clinic I got treatment from uses Noona. Appointments, test results, lab results, billing questions... A symptom tracker!! Messaging options. It really came in handy for so many things and I was grateful to have it! The app didn't save my life, but kept me in close touch with the team that contributed the most. Definitely made going through the fight a lot easier!
While we're here, for the sake of awareness. FEEL UP YOUR BREASTS, often. Don't assume anything abnormal that you feel is something harmless. Modern medicine is amazing and it's not a death sentence anymore. Get genetic testing if it's an option (it's stupid expensive.) I was diagnosed at 39 and I've learned that people are getting diagnosed younger and younger every year...
