feel more knowledgeable about your surroundings in this easy step! I learnt this one here and now I spot it all the time and get to make people touch it and smell their hands (peanut butter, surprisingly!)

Idk plants are just everywhere, like just growing all around us and we don’t really take the time to engage with them but we should cause like, some of them are just being beautiful for our pleasure, and then some of them help grow the foods we eat, and even more of them keep our air clean Touching plants is super neat and makes you feel really good so I highly recommend taking a walk and touching every plant you feel intrigued by or curious about

Take a pic of a plant and it will identify it for you. Been using it on every plant I see, even weeds on the sidewalk and various grasses. It’s nice to figure out if something is nonnative/invasive. Idk if it’s really improving my life necessarily, but it’s fun.

and waking up by the ocean to a thick fog morning. one of my favorite parts of my road trip, partly because it felt like we were getting away with something big ($1k fine if you’re caught sleeping at a pull off) and partly because it was only the 3rd of 16 nights car camping up the coast so the novelty hadn’t worn off quite yet.
