Sometimes when I rush out of the house or pass by on my way somewhere I check how I look in the mirror of this photo that’s up the street from my flat, just to hype myself up a little bit

🪞next weekend go out and shop around until you find a mirror where you look at yourself and think, damn, who’s that good looking guy? Checking yourself out in a flattering mirror before you leave the house gives you a truly priceless amount of confidence.

I have never not once looked back at a bathroom selfie and thought: “I really wish I hadn’t taken that.” If the fit is fire and the the mirror is reflecting, it is a must. The world is a runway — even the wash closet.

🪞this is a self rec because I get SOOOO in my head about how I look all the time that I sometimes have to fully leave the function — in large part it’s a dysphoria thing. But then I look in the mirror when I get home and i see I’m eating and I’ve been eating all day, and no way anyone was looking at me and thinking how ridiculous I look. So yeah look at yourself!!

I used to be a bit of a “flowers are a waste of money, they’ll just die” person. But now Im shocked at how much joy they bring me. I’ve had an awful week and then living overseas from my family is made harder around holidays. So I marched myself to the flower market in my neighborhood and got some for myself. I smile to myself every time I see them and I think that’s well worth the money in a hard time
