one of sakurai’s (kirby, smash bros) most underrated projects. its writing is very early-2010s anime but it’s endearing in its own way, and the soundtrack and aesthetics are still so stellar, esp for 3ds
i don't play a ton of video games but this is my fav - love all the mythology stuff, the art style, the gameplay, everything. hard but not unnecessarily so, and very satisfying to beat!
I got my PhD in greek mythology and baroque counterpoint music theory playing this game on the NES as a little kid.
You have to go to the underworld and fight Hades in the end, it was so scary 😱
