HAVING FEARS
We should be scared of so many things and I think having phobias as an adult is cool. Being tough is out for 2025 and being scared is in. To have fears is to be humble and super super cool. My biggest fears are chimps, hornets, death (general), and the ocean. Having fears means when I am not scared it’s an accomplishment, not the norm. I’m not scared of Jerusalem crickets (image), snakes, spiders, the end of times, or hear stroke. Let me know in the comments below.

Feeling scared.
I’m scared of Whole Foods. I’m scared of claustrophobia and of wide open spaces. I’m scared of kneeling on the floor, scared of bleeding and of bruises. I’m scared of research and of door latches and locksmiths and their drills. I’m scared of all the days of the week except for Thursday. At least I used to be before Thursday came and smiled and showed me her claws too. I’m scared of islands and of mountains and of soft sand beaches. I’m scared of trails and of highways and homesteads and high rises. I’m scared of plastic and of metal and shoepolish and crayola tempura paint. I’m scared of sugar and of lemons and plates that spark in the microwave. We used to eat off of Elvis’s face, serve salad on The Kiss, used to kiss on the couch but I’m scared of that too now. I’m scared of factories and farms, greenhouses and your little fire escape. Scared of pencils and switchblades and feather boas, feather dusters. I never knew I was allergic to dust until a week ago when they took my blood and spun it twelve times fast.

Unfortunately fear is one of the essential spices of life. It's always around this time that I'm the scardiest guy in the world, something about the summertime just turns everything a new shade of evil. Maybe it's all that light?

MOUNTAIN LIONS
I think mountain lions are so cool, just thinking about them right now. If I could have a mountain lion as a companion I so would. They are beautiful creatures, iconic symbols of the American west, which I also love. If I ever saw one in the wild I would be so scared but later I’d think it was cool.

TAKING MANY MANY SELFIES
I have always been on selfies and yes it’s kinda embarassing and yes it’s kinda cringe but I think taking photos of ourselves in moments helps you feel like you have moments that are worth documenting AND you look good in them! Also funny factor on selfies is so good. Look at this selfie I took.
