Some former mutuals have recently expressed their interest in getting to know me and itβs made me feel really good about myself! one was a match on a dating app (π½) and one was a spontaneous invite to a group hang that has now blossomed into several other hangs both independently and in a group setting. It feels nice to have irl people say βhey iβd like to get to know you better,β especially since i made it a goal to seek intimacy and connection more this summer. β₯οΈβ₯οΈβ₯οΈ

i live in london at the moment - it's awesome, and there's so much to do at any given opportunity (for remarkably cheap). like i've been decision paralysed today because there are so so many movies that i want to see all happening on the same day next week, which kind of articulates the best and worst bits about london - so much opportunity, all the time, which could all theoretically be yours but is just out of reach. i know that example seems really trivial but like on a larger scale it feels like everyone is cooler and more literate and more cultured than you and it's a constant battle to see more and do more and be more. it's a privilege in itself to have that and want that but it's still overwhelming
