I recommend using one of the IRS partners through IRS Free File! Same type of guided service as TurboTax except you can choose a partner company that is free for both federal and state filing based on where you live. Disclaimer is that I can't speak to the difficulty of self-filing for a year that involved moving states or complex job stuff, but hopefully this could still be useful info for next year!

@BUMBYTHEFOOL thank you I use FreeTaxUSA so it’s not the filing process itself that’s difficult for me it’s the stress of doing it and owing money because I have self employment income and never pay quarterly estimate taxes 🤡 so I like to kick the can down the road

My dad teases me about how when I was a little kid, my favorite thing to do when I was on the landline phone with somebody—be it a relative or one of my best friends—was to breathlessly describe the things that were in my bedroom so that they could have a mental picture of everything I loved and chose to surround myself with, and where I sat at that moment in time. Perfectly Imperfect reminds me of that so thanks for always listening and for sharing with me too 💌
