Discovered this today and it’s one of the best albums I’ve listened to in a while and the story behind its release is so beautiful if you’re a fan of folk rock or indie rock you’ll love this.
if you like some alt-country, this is like bedroom indie pop jangle folk with drum machines. allegedly this album was inspired by the time he saw stonehenge and it made him want to stop smoking weed.
loved this album and his 2019 Move Around EP is an all time personal fav of mine.
This album is fantastic. I’ve been listening to it a lot over the past month. There’s a lightness to the album but having read the backstory of the album and how much of it was inspired by Will Kennedy’s wife, Kate Schneider, getting brain cancer, it also feels very on brand for me. #sadsongsforlife
