…and honestly it both sucked and was amazing. i went to indiana from the east coast and between the ldr i had at the time and seeing all my friends have fun without me, i felt i was missing out on so much. but i also felt so independent and pushed myself to make friends despite being so introverted. i had an amazing time with my new friends, but we don’t really keep in touch anymore.
nowadays i would love to live in another country for a few years or move to the city. but my friends from high school stuck around and i wouldn’t leave them behind unless they left first.
but whatever you do, probably don’t move to indiana. there isn’t too much to do in indiana

I used to think it sucked, and hated feeling like people looked down on me for staying (for reference, everyone I knew at school left after). But I basically had to rebuild myself and social life after school in the same way that being in a new environment would be. And you know what, give a fuck! even though in every film being the girl that stays at home is a freak, my life has become so full and loving… let that freak flag fly:))))

Im so glad youve found a job that you love. One of the biggest risks i took was moving to the other side of the country, alone and away from family and friends, for school. It was really hard at first, but I think ive learned so much and grown in a lot more ways than if i had stayed at home. Right now I couldnt be happier. Even though its been years, my family and friends back home and I are still close, even if we arent able to talk or hang out as frequently. Wishing you all the best <3

Don’t get me wrong, I love travel and I’m game to befriend everyone, but i was clearly made for home and mountains and books and isolation, none of which I found in Florida.
I’m looking forward to spending time with my family man. It’s a small life after all.

its crazy to me we are now at a point where major companies are actively putting measures into their products to make them hard or impossible to fix on your own. if you take it anywhere else to get it fixed your warranty is now voided. i just paid like $1000 for this phone. do i even really own it if nobody but the company i bought it from can fix it?
better yet you bring it to them and they will essentially do nothing but quote you for overpriced parts you don’t need or more likely just tell you to buy a new phone. thanks apple!!!
