A beautiful and truly American team sport that has changed my life. All the guys are hot, the stories are dramatic and exciting, it’s violent and impressive and there’s nothing better than spending all of Sunday with ur friends drinking beer and screaming at the TV…and then when you realize there’s another game after the one you just watched…pure bliss.

i first heard this poem through an interpolated reading of the first stanza in the song 'Exit Scott (interlude)' by Solange. it is truly one of the most beautiful expressions of love and adoration i have ever read. i often think about these lines:
'If it were possible
to place you in my brain,
to let you roam
around in and out

one of my favourite songs on the album is 'Bear', and I would recommend that you listen to it if you wanna get a feel for what the album is like rather than diving into headfirst.
