Okay crazy combo first time those two have been in the same sentence together. I love Travvyās music so hard (basic) but itās missing the full adoration other artists get. I can take a break from Travis or donāt need to listen every day, with my number one (Drake š„°š„°) that just isnāt the case.
Malick gets a more refined answer. I really do love Malickās general style, I think it harkens to Tarkovsky in a lot of ways and I really love it, his films seem to represent the ordinary and yet somehow make the viewer realize that the ordinary is whatās important. This is what life is all about, the trees, the sky, relationships, etc. I also love his use of natural light and wide lenses. My only gripes with Malick are I feel his movies drag on too long sometimes, and can use music as a way to shove the theme down your throat. Tree of life has a perfect film in there if you cut it, but I think he gets grandiose with his music choices and expands his frame too far when looking at space, keep it to the Texas scenes!
