A bit of a basic answer, but seeing this and laughing and crying at the same time as everyone else in the room while the music swelled and the colors flashed at my childhood AMC was one of the best moviegoing experiences I’ve ever had! Wish i could relive that first time!!

This is also one of my favourite movies of all time, and I love how polar opposite our first viewings were!

@UGLIESTBINCH I was fresh out of a nasty break up, my best friend and I walked in to smaller viewing knowing next to nothing about the movie. I am obsessed with existential philosophy and had recently gotten “nothing matters” tattooed on my knee. We were sobbing, like nasty awful, not running down my NECK type sobbing, and everyone else in the theatre did not shed a tear, and said the movie was “okay” or that they didn’t get it

if we’re talking strictly things in theaters then probably everything everywhere all at once. Can feel kinda long at a point but leaving that theater it felt like my life had changed somehow

one of my favorite experiences cause i saw it in a really small, mostly empty theater with 3 of my college friends and i just had no idea what i was going into, just amazing!

i have 200,000 plays on soundcloud because i made an ambient track when i was 15 and clickbait titled it "sex noises". dozens of comments going "wheres the sex". what a strange impact to have made on the world and i am locked out of the account forever
