📚i was gifted this book & besides my journal and lipgloss, it is the only thing i take with me everywhere all the time no matter what. Rilke wrote beautiful & profound letters to a student of his, though it feels like he wrote them to me, to you, to us. it touches me on an artistic level, but it is also very much a book that pokes at spirituality & existentialism in a way that makes u reach inside yourself to find what already inherently exists inside of u. thx Zander for the gift :‘)

🦁An epistolary love-poem that found its way to me during a totally psychotic time in my life, this, as well as Jamie Hood’s how to be a good girl, inspired me to start writing my own poetry. My dear friend was reading Coeur de Lion back when we lived together & would text me photos of stanzas that stuck out to her. We would would often have long conversations about men (obviously), boundaries, relationships, sex, self growth, etc, etc. Those conversations as well as these brilliant words by Ariana have a special place in my heart. In April, this excerpt struck me the most, “I guess there’s no point saying these things we did. We know what we did. But stating them is like reinstating them inside me.” Moody!!!!! Kinda dark!!!!! Real good if you’re into that kinda thing. God knows I am!!!!! Xoxo

i decided to spend my birthday last year in patagonia because i wanted to go on an adventure and see beautiful things. the initial plan was to go to antarctica but that didn’t work out so i decided to go to as close to the end of the world as i could. it’s really one of those trips that make you believe in the glorious mysteries of life. exploring the wilderness while listening to black marble’s ‘it’s immaterial’ was wonderful.
