if you have to talk to strangers who give you little back on a regular basis, i’ve found having a list of things i like and things i don’t like has been helpful in several ways! i can either check the lists for a new thing ive added to remind myself for something to say, or ask them if they have their own lists, and what’s on them. most of the time people will say they don’t have one, so this gives you lots of conversation while you workshop what they would put on those lists and they elaborate on why. here are my lists if this interests you

not just to do’s, but those too! i keep running lists of things. Like, “things my bestie somehow doesn’t know about“ and “things i like about my partner“ and “this would make a good gift“ i always come back to my lists, and i am always delighted by what i find

recently going through getting over the love of my life (lol) and i have been trying to do this thing where every time i feel like i am going to be alone for the rest of my life, similar thoughts along those lines and end up just getting really really sad, i make lists. Lists of the things i need to do, i want to do, things i never did before and can do now. i also remember i was having a bad spell of losing a lot of my things and the breakup hit me during this time so I made a list of all the bad things that happened to sort of complain which is when my friend recommended me to make a list of the good things so now my favourite list is “good things are always happening to me” which is basically noting down something nice that happened daily and i think that really helps on days that i feel really disappointed and hopeless.

I’m a big lover of self-affirming lists. if I feel unloveable I write lists of reasons I love other people and then which traits I also share with that list. If I feel lost and not myself I write lists of things I love. If I feel I have no stable self I write a list of things ive done or felt since childhood. you say you have no real hobbies or interests, but you’ve already been writing a huge lists of things youre interested in or feel passionate about here on PI.FYI! you have tastes, interests, passions! Sometimes you just need to see it written down, and sometimes you need to start writing the list to realise that actually writing the list would be impossible because there’s so many tiny and huge things you like or do.

this came about from reading the letterboxd reviews of a friend. i know this friend loves trash as much as i do, but noticed they still never gave those movies 5 stars. it seemed to me that even when sharing your personal opinion on something, people sometimes still like to see themselves as “the reviewer”, an objective professional critic in their own bubble, which i found weird when i thought about it. so i made my own radar (or spider) chart with the things that i think make a movie fun/ good or boring/bad and i mark things off this way instead. i have hundreds of them at this point it’s really fun to do and idk i recommend making ur own!

idk if you can share images in replies but i’d be interested in seeing/ reading what you have as a lock screen and why you chose it (if there is a reason) !

tldr: no one really knows why or who decided to dig a massive hole into the ground and hand decorate it into series of rooms covered in over 4.5 million shells (but it is quite the vibe regardless.) there are a few theories as to why it was made, but it’s unusual imo to come across something for which the purpose is entirely lost (if it had one at all.) they range from witchcraft, the knights templar or just for a laugh which is kinda wild. it was cheap to visit and very calming! heres my photo of the small dome portion of the grotto which allows you to see the sky.
