So I made these entirely by accident!! these are a pair of my dad’s old jeans that I stole from the attic and then one day at work I broke a 2 litre bottle of bleach all over the floor. whilst mopping it started to soak in and I didn’t think anything of it until a couple hours later when I realised what had happened. Now they just look sick and are a regular part of my fashion rotation!! pair up well with a pair of docs

Handed down through the family, these were an uncle's jeans (he was super skinny in the 70s), then my cousin brother's jeans, and now they're mine. Ir's the only pair of clothing where I tell myself not to gain too much weight, because I want to fit in them forever lol but someday that day will come...
Many appreciative moments with these jeans too, one time a girl at the metro chased after me to ask where I'd got them. They're made so well. Nice and stiff, takes three wears to break in after laundry day.

so this is the story
i’d wanted my pants wider, i got some money around christmas and bought a pair of wide leg Wales Bonner pants and some wide leg corduroys from a french brand called Uniforme. eventually I found myself wearing the WB pants constantly but they were white so I thought I should find a way to get a similar fitting pant but darker
one day i was walking home past tompkins and i ran into a friend skating in some acne jeans. i went home and did research and found the 1989. week later i was on holiday for spring break in paris to visit my aunt and my friends there, and made an investment to save money bc it used to be much cheaper in europe
anyway these jeans were even more extreme than my WB jeans and i loved them so much, but the denim quality was mid and the crotch blew out in like 8 months of just about daily wear excluding most of summer
but i used these as a base for trouser patterns many times and will never get rid of them for what they meant to me
