I forgot how much I used to love them.
Nowadays they make artificial and much more realistic ones that actually twinkle
But I prefer the nostalgic, green half-glow that helped me fall asleep
orange street lights are so beautiful and its important for nighttime to feel strange
they are removing these sweepingly and replacing them with white led lamps which are infinitely less beautiful not least because they mimic daylight.....and if that wasnt enough these new lights in great numbers make the night sky like purply green when clouds are low instead of ORANGE like it should be
appreciate these in their remaining yrs
that may be so niche but i have so much trouble rendering the glow around the moon, lightning bugs, the glow of a lamp or flame etc no matter what medium i attempt them in
Sounds weird but look at the lights and shadows around you, where the shadows shift with the wind and where the light changes
Makes even led light halogen hell feel nostalgic, everyday just seek out a lil patch of light or shadow
