here’s some traits of the coolest people I’ve met:
- KIND: they take genuine interest in other people, always the one to make sure no one is left out and everyone they talk to feels valued and listened to etc
- ARTISTIC: they clearly have a fully developed inner world, they are constantly consumed by some kind of artistic or creative endeavour
- NERDY: they have odd little side quests they are always working on, lots of unconventional interests and hobbies. they also love talking about their interests openly, without any shame
- WELL READ: they have in depth knowledge about very niche subjects
- KNOW WHO THEY ARE: they know what they want and don’t follow crowds or need external validation.
also! they usually have a defining style quirk, like only wearing one specific colour
also I’d say it’s less about how you look and more about how deeply you interact with the world around you - people who are truly curious and fascinated by life, and who are hungry to experience all that they can are always the coolest to me!!!
to me i think it comes down to having a strong sense of self. many things can contribute to this including being well read & articulate, having a strong sense of personal style (NOT just trends), and especially making art of any kind 🙂❤️
