i listen to about 2-3,000 minutes of music each week because they let me play whatever i want in the front of the shop. I had made this playlist a while ago so that i never had to stress about finding stuff to play in the shop, but accidentally deleted it somehow. luckily, it was mainly just a bunch of my favorite albums and some of my other playlists conjoined into on huge playlist, so it was pretty easy to slap it back together in between customers.
this new and improved version is 56+ hours of all my favorite tunes i can just vibe to as i answer emails, phone calls, and help customers.
rock, indie, emo, pop, all that good stufffff.

I just got a job at a really nice spa working as an esthetician and it's the first spa i've worked at where they let me play my own music :3 My music is a little unorthodox for the treatment room but one of my clients yesterday said she loved it ;P

š¶I've posted about this once before and will post about it again, I'm sure. One of the things that I have noticed since getting letterboxed last year is how afraid people are to admit they like something. that new animated k-pop movie on netflix made me notice this again when three of the people that I have on there prefaced their reviews with a variant of "i consumed this ironically, but it was actually kind of good..."
...LAME... and a little bit pathetic to see tbh.
We really need to remember that you only live once. just fucking enjoy the stuff you like, and stop asking the world for permission and acceptance to do so! being so afraid of what others will think when you post a review under a kid's movie is more cringe than admitting you like a kid's movie.
