It's a beloved chand raat (night before Eid) ritual. Friends, cousins, mothers hanging out together and putting henna on each other's hands. I think henna should be as common as doing your nails because it makes your hands look so beautiful.
Itβs a little thing that makes me feel put together and since itβs not something I have to do for hygiene purposes it feels extra special. And having to sit to wait for them to dry really makes me slow down.
The house I live in was built in the 60s(I think) and it has these big grilled windows which create patterns of the sunlight and I admire them so so much.
