I just watched this in the cinema last night and was completely bowled over by the plethora of opportunities they had to make it a good movie, and every single time they just did the exact opposite. It's STAGGERINGLY boring. Don't get me started on the fuckass wig they put my girl Tilda Swinton in. Also it's a musical. And I love musicals. And I did not love this one. Also honourable mention to Emilia Pérez which I think is the worst movie ever made maybe. But I think you can watch EP high with your friends and laugh.

AND ALSO I literally just remembered they add in a random gay character and called him the f slur super randomly. And I'm pretty sure Joshua Oppenheimer is gay so I don't even know what the point of that whole subplot was. I could talk about how bad this movie is for a very long time #keyboardwarrior

i also have seen plenty of bad christmas rom-coms and b-horror films but at least i can enjoy them for how cheesy they are! Cats (2019) was horrifying. it wasn’t so bad it‘s good to me, it was just so bad. i also, accidentally, got extremely high before watching it and my friend and i watched it in complete darkness in his dorm (this was around when it came out) and it almost kind of scared me even though we both kept laughing because it was so bad and so absurd. also it was bootlegged so every 15 minutes a neon cartoon piñata advertising online gambling popped onto the screen for maybe thirty seconds. that aside, i literally didn’t understand nor was i able to follow the storyline at all. the musical numbers didn’t help. the cgi was freaky and they should’ve done costumes instead. why was jason derulo cat’s number like that. what was up with the hot air balloons at the end?! it was a terrible experience. i am queer and love camp and can appreciate a (GOOD) musical and i’ve no idea what the stage version of cats is like but this was just awful. i gave it a half star on letterboxd but would’ve given it zero if i could

This is probably one of my favorite movies. It’s also awful. With a stacked cast of Kate Hudson, Matthew McConaughey, Kevin Hart, Donald Sutherland, it might make you wonder, why the fuck haven’t you heard of it. Well it sucks. It’s like watching reality TV, a car crash you can‘t take your eyes off of. It’s somehow bad but in a really good way. Bad in a way where you could see how it could have been good but it’s not disappointing the way it turned out. I love this movie. If you’re looking for a good, bad time, I recommend it.

Please save your money and time This is the worst movie I’ve ever seen and they paid 200 million dollars to make it which could have fed countless people It looks so bad and I can’t even imagine how much Samuel L jackson got paid im generally pretty positive about movies and enjoy at least some aspects of most but this is genuinely awful

the old-fashioned way, like you would before the entire internet was monopolised into basically three conglomerates. why would you spend all your time on your computer swapping between instagram tiktok youtube pinterest when you could find some of the coolest websites you've never heard about learning information your algorithm would never feed to you!!!! a good place to start is your favourite artist's websites (not just musicians!) sometimes they have blogs (especially if they're writers) and often they link websites they like. I also like magazine websites - the face, angel food, hot literati or craigslist missed connections. I check the new york section all the time
