this is probably my favorite acc on youtube and the video essays are really good for people who need short bursts of extreme mental stimulation. intensity is high but the barrier to entry is low - there are video essays about everything from 18th century philosophy to nickelodeon’s victorious!!!! linking my fav one to recommend people which is about spirited away

documentaries on youtube

But no barcroft tv or video essays (though those have their place). im talking about crunchy quality niche subject indie stuff. If you want really interesting and entertaining video essays by a guy who does a lot of research, Super Eyepatch Wolf is the person for the job. His essays are so good that I will watch them on rainy days when I'm feeling like watching something nostalgic. Most of his essays are about anime, video games, and television.
