I absolutely love her stuff! Her fast paced poetic videos force me to be attentive and if I allow myself to be distracted, I feel lost. Absolutely insane stuff. The words and phrases she uses are so cool! And every few months she posts, it's like a refreshing slap to the face because she ends up saying what we wish to hear.

Very much one for the ladies. I love her video essays and her kind of more abstract meditations. She’s insightful, mystical, soothing, intellectual, unsnobbish, staunch, has unparalleled taste and is a total cultish devotee of art, literature, philosophy, and the pursuit of glamour and beauty. Her videos are my haven when I’m feeling doubt and despair in my creative process. Her wisdom, taste, and faith help guide me when I feel I need it and the themes of her channel - her emphasis on treating your life like a work of art, of being brave ruthless and exclusive in love, and cutting yourself off from the cult of consumer-capitalism - is all very sage advice for living.

I’m convinced that this YouTuber based in London is the most criminally underrated artist of our generation.
She is able to capture what it’s like to be in your 20s in a big city, just trying your best to connect to your creativity while also doing all the little things you have to do.
She uses mainly two different cameras— a nice Sony and an old camcorder— and I love how that creates a multi-textured visual style. Her editing style is superb, lots of fade-in’s and superimposed images. Her needle drops honestly rival Scorsese’s, and her monologues/prose remind me at times of Kerouac and others Babitz.
Sometimes she includes cheeky little skits that verge on magical realism. They’re hilarious, while also walking the line between absurdity and Truth.
i haven’t been able to find her on social media, but I follow her Spotify because her playlists are insanely good.

Y'all ever write a word and suddenly it looks wrong? Like, the word just looks unusual. Then you cross it out and write it again but it's still the same cause the spelling is right but it looks so wrong! And so you repeat, but it remains the same and at that point you're agitated! What the actual fuck is wrong with me!
And so you just ignore it and continue writing but it still bothers you. You look in the dictionary and the spelling is still the same and the word still looks wrong and there's absolutely nothing you can do about it.
