my partner is into visual mediums of art, and i am an aspiring director. we love crafting together and gifting each other little homemade tokens of appreciation. looking around my room, i see all of her love surrounding me.

Honestly there’s no better place to find inspiration than those we keep around us. This is a wip but i recently went out with a long time friend from hs and we both had so much fun and she just inspired me to make like physical art again!! Like i haven’t made anything in 3 years but after reconnecting with her i found that her energy and confidence in herself has me so inspired that i had to make this about her! (the one on the left is just me practicing with my oil pastels and the right is the light sketch of the actual piece!)
One thing i’ve learned to love about ceramics and craft is learning by doing. this wall altar’s form was a recreation of another artists work so this altar is only fit for gifting. I’m so lucky i have friends who will take pretty pictures of my work :,)
