When Harry Met Sally is my number one rom com and movie, always. My Big Fat Greek Wedding is another one I love. Recently watched The Wedding Planner (Jennifer Lopez and Matthew McConaughey) and loved it. Runaway Bride (Julia Roberts and Richard Gere) is also good.
I Want You Back, When We First Met, No Hard Feelings are enjoyable. Romancing the Stone was great, you can also watch The Lost City (Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum) which has tons of parallels to Romancing the Stone.
This time of the year I always try to watch Lovehard, Serendipity, While You Were Sleeping, and The Holiday.
I don't know if this (or any of the above recs) are what you're looking for but Much Ado About Nothing (1993) is in my top 10 favorite movies.

When Harry Met Sally for Italians.
Showed this to one of my best friends while she was staying with me — its her first time in New York so obviously I had to show her this piece of local culture..
For the uninitiated, it’s Cher! it’s Nicholas Cage (who is inexplicably sexy in this..)! it’s 1980s Brooklyn and it’s Italian! I mean right off the bat opening track is that’s amore. The moon is hitting eyes like big pizza pies fr. exceptionally quotable, it’s silly and heartwarming, full of romantic and familial love, Nic has a fake hand and Cher has really good outfits. They have such freak romantic and sexual chemistry and its the perfect level of camp where something goofy happens and it still surprises and delights you each time.

here are some things I've done in my 20s that were a blast: - learned to fly a kite (flying a kite as an adult is the best - i recc doing it at the beach if you can manage it, more wind there) - recreating one of the showstopper bakes from the Great British Bake Off (it absolutely sucked but was really fun haha who knew baking was an exact science?) - bought some blank white shelves and invited all my friends over to paint them - attend a workshop at the library (i went to one that taught me how to pickle vegetables!) - make a perfect summer playlist, burn it on CDs, give it out to friends - make a different kind of lemonade/iced tea every week (i really looked forward to opening my fridge every day when I was doing this) - buy a book of poetry and spend so so so long going through the pages and illustrating the poem in the margins (or doodle whatever) - find a local pizzeria/bar that does open mics and go listen to the performers with some friends (why not? pizza? music? and lots to talk about!) - make shaved ice at home! (or home made ice cream if you're feeling particularly bold) - go listen to your municipal band play at the park - figure out whats in season in your region produce wise and challenge yourself to make dinner just from what you can find at a farmers market or something
h.a.g.s. xoxo
