Been out to restaurants twice this month for family birthdays and had the yummyist deserts both times. So just to say order that desert you won't regret it. (I had chocolate fudge cake with ice cream and a strawberry then I had these doughnut bites with melted Nutella for dipping both 10/10)

- I think affogatos were invented by someone a little bit drunk, because it is for me the easiest and smartest dessert ever. Also enjoy a good cheesecake and tea combo! - There are many Indian desserts I love (so long as we don't overdo it, because they are deathly sweet), like ras malai, gulab jamun and so on. My favourite in Indian desserts are the fresh milk sweets called barfi, of which there are always an assortment. And Gheear, which looks like jalebi, but is way way better, from the Sindh community. - I od'd on baklawa some years ago, and only recently started liking them again hahaha - Palestinian knafeh is an absolute soul favourite, ever since a friend served us one straight from the oven. The best is home-made! - In Taiwan, I really like the sweet douhua and grass jelly. There's a shop that makes it hot with a sweet ginger syrup, and you can add other toppings, so mine is always with sweet potato balls, peanuts and white fungus.

I almost never have room for it but I always want it. So I just get it to-go. It’s a nice reminder of a lovely dinner and also dessert is simply better in the privacy of your own home. I just took myself out on a lunch date and ordered a to-go carrot cake and they gave it to me in a tin foil swan! So now I get cake later and I get to carry around a conversation piece. A-one experience.

I like romanticizing having a desert. If I'm going to have a desert, I can't just have a peach or I'll be frustrated. I have to prepare a little tray with fruit, dairy, tea and biscuits and watch something. eating is so dope

This is my new favourite kind of crochet project. It's great for using up small balls of yarn/scraps and they can be relatively quick projects if you keep them small (the apple one is 17x47, the bow one is 20x20, the swan one is 24x27 stitches) so if you get bored with projects quickly it's a good choice. There are so many different grids you can find I get mine off Pinterest. Since my pieces are very small I think I'm going to sew them all together plus more to create a pillow case, but there are so many other things you can with with this technique like framing them or using this style of colour work in a larger piece like a jumper.
