I have an evil coworker who’s whole life revolves around our damn job and every time I take a day or two off she makes snide comments about it. I have learned to ignore it and take a damn day off from my stupid ass office job. I deserve a break sometimes!!!!

woke up with a migraine today and i don’t know why i always have an internal dilemma about calling in sick for a day or just powering through it
but! at the end of the day, the world doesn’t stop turning just because i took a day to rest and take care of myself, and my job isn’t my life!!! they don’t own me!!

I am a 22 year old who graduated about a year ago and have been working full time for about 10 months. My suggestion is to find spaces where you can be with people your age and that have your interests. Working full time with people 30 years your elder can be so hard so really create a work life balance where once you are off of work, you are off of work. I have been taking art classes all around my city recently and it has been so fun and it takes my mind off of stupid work things!!! Very highly rec!!!!!!!
