Saw Hovvdy live Monday night in St. Paul and it was awesome. Way louder than I was expecting which was also awesome. They played their new song Shooting Star with runo plum for the first time live and that was pretty cool too (this was not one of the louder songs)
Saw them live at Poisson Rouge. The lead singer Steve said hi to me and my friends, such friendly and down to earth guys. Also, their music is so amazing, I listen to ‘Cheer Up, Chihiro’ almost every day.
I didn’t like how big all toiletry bags were so I made one. It’s just big enough to hold my glasses, contacts, toothbrush, and a few other things. I also made a catchall for my pocket things out of the same canvas.
Overcomplicated actually. I needed a pencil cup for my desk, so I made one out of Trader Joe’s turkey chili can. I left it at that for a while, then decided to make a base out of plywood and bolt the can to it through the bottom, providing slightly more stability and preventing my pencils from spilling all over my desk.
