A grotesque and brilliant collection of short stories. a good mix of sci-fi, spec fic, body horror and comedy. Clarkeโs writing feels so visceral, she manages to make such surreal worlds feel very real.

I am by no means traditionally religious, but I fully understand how being in the presence of beautiful stained glass can feel like being with god.
