went on an impromptu trip out of town to visit a coworker/friend who was filming their first horror project a few weeks ago. always fun to watch the filmmaking process. and even more fun to be involved in it

Ever since starting college I've made it a point to try on different things, different people...., different styles, and different hobbies! Today I got the IMMENSE privilege of helping out a friend with a short film! It was incredibly fun and made me realize how important it is to have different likes, different things that make our world keep spinning. I'm glad to be able to add film-making (ish) to this little world of mine!

Even if you arenโt into film, lots of skills to learn from one, most important IMO is learning how to work under pressure/time limits!!
plus itโs just super duper fun making a movie w some friends :)

Sometimes filmmaking is peeling logos off of bottles with hot water and a pocket knife for hours. Sometimes its becoming an expert on Sanatoriums. Sometimes itโs digging through recycling bins for a week or knowing where every single catholic church is in your city.
