it keeps me sane and feeling healthy, i’m a smoker so i like to think that walking at least 10k steps a day is offsetting the damage i’m doing to myself
plus it’s just fun! i love exploring new places and feeling the sun/wind/rain etc on my face

i think its bc im used to walking everywhere in general but having at least a 10 minute walk will completely change my mood and entire day. even thru rain or snow, i will just layer up and try to achieve this- sometimes its impossible but its been 95% successful so far!!! truly life changing <3 just throw on a good playlist or podcast, or use it to think about stuff

Most of the time I’ll walk to a park and sit and read or journal and it’s really made me feel 10x better. Something about fresh winter air and sunshine is meditative
