Spensy, but I was using Ring Tone but switched over to Sunset Boulevard Styling Crème and I like the light hold it has, but I recommend both Leave in conditioner is really important for frizz, I liked Vegamour’s HYDR-8 This is gonna sound weird but I’ve had pretty good luck buying people’s lots of travel size products on eBay/depop etc to try a bunch of stuff, or buy nothing groups Satin/silk pillowcase does help with tangling but honestly the only way to keep it styled for me is to get it wet again and start over

At least once a week (usually more) I’ll use a mask instead of a conditioner. I really like virtues restorative treatment mask For a leave in conditioner like the other Rec I like curlsmith they just launched this volumizing line that is very good! I think the hydrate and plump leave in is prob a safe bet for you! Also Andrew fitzsimins leave in curl creams it’s cheap and I like it - like one of the other people said its also about how much you use! sometimes I can get by with a little and some days I have to load it on to calm the frizz I also always have some sort of hydrating spray to spray on bits that end up being frizzy when they dry that I missed or that need extra moisture - Eva nyc has a good one (including links to some of the reviews ive written for certain products cause they’re in depth ) https://www.instyle.com/virtue-labs-restorative-treatment-hair-mask-review-7229819 https://www.instyle.com/eva-nyc-hydration-leave-in-conditioner-review-8423137

I used to be a blunt cut bob girlie but have changed my ways the last two years, Protein & Moisture; super important, these two helped w strength & retention protein treatment every 6 weeks followed by deep conditioner same day, hair mask once a week (something w NO protein!! just moisturizing) Reducing heat and manipulation; heat style twice a week maximum if you can help it with the help of good heat protection (NO OIL PROTECTANTS!!! Kenra professional has my fave products - the blow out spray is amazing & worth its price) use sleep styles to protect your hair (im curly but do a blowout once a week- I maintain it by using a oversized pillow scrunchie at the top of my head pineapple style and my hair wrapped around the actual scrunchie- play around with it & how you sleep + how you want it styled in the morning + make sure that your hairline isn’t getting tugged around) itll prevent damage from heat constantly, friction from sleeping and i promise will make mornings way easier. Scalp care: Rosemary oil will be your best friend!! Studies came out that it’s similar to 2.5% minoxidil - which is a OTC hair loss treatment. Mix oil of choice w dried rosemary (add dried buckroot & mint if you wanna get fancy, olive oil and jojoba havent steered me wrong yet!!) I like to do a cold infusion which can take two weeks but it’s cheaper and I know what’s going on my scalp. Put it on your scalp and massage for a few minutes, leave on for a few hours but if you want you can overnight, use a clarifying shampoo & follow up with protein/moisture depending on where you are in the cycle! Taking care of my scalp, reducing hair & tbh- taking a solid multivitamin helped me a lot! Products I luvvvvv; Kendra Blowout Spray Kendra Blowout Lotion Rosemary oil DIY Satin pillowcase & oversized scrunchie (you can find these on Amazon or Ulta! They will be life changers….) Also- silk/satin scrunchies over regular hair ties, try to avoid any tension :)

it's a hairstyling cream that saved my life. the texture is light and it doesn't make my hair crunchy like a gel. my hair is a 2c/3a and gets frizzy really easily. this cream completely gets rid of it. i wet my hair to make it damp, add a good amount of this (my hair is thick too so the amount you use is smth to experiment with) and my hair doesn't frizz nearly all day. sometimes i reapply it by bringing a small container from dollar tree with it, but if i use enough in the morning it doesnt need to be reapplied. i also use Carol's Daughter leave-in conditioner. i spray it everyday and it's made my hair so much softer. my hair is really dry and leave-in conditioner was a game changer.

I have a very demanding cat who is far too smart for his own good and knows how to manipulate me into doing whatever he wants. And you know what? I love every minute of it. It is an honor to serve 🫡

Every time I look something up on Google images, more and more of the results are AI slop. It’s lit a fire under me to collect more books - been looking at the art & fashion sections of used book stores and building up my library. It‘s also nice to have a finite source to seek inspiration from rather than getting caught in an infinite scroll.

I love hot pot so much that I bought a zojirushi one for home. Perfect for having friends over or for group trips, everyone brings their favorite veggies & meats and you cook and yap the night away.
