my grandad is one of the best people out there and heβs about to die, iβm very glad we got to do so much stuff together and become friends. our relationship really shaped me. visit your grandparents :)
I went to my Paβs place and he made the two of us dinner and we just had a lovely time. It made me realise that I rarely hang out with him without the rest of the family. He made a classic 1950s style chops n veg (lots of butter, mint jelly (?)). Love him so much.
This years pride will be a bit more difficult compared to the last couple years but HAPPY PRIDE! Celebrate with the people you love and the people that care for you. this year especially we need to stick together as a community with the rise of homophobia and especially the rise of transphobia. a special reminder that our community is built off the work of the black trans community and the black trans women that have fought for all of our rights. respect one another as that is all we can do right now. happy pride and be safe! <3
