Whether it’s a song, a book, a smell, a meal, a walk, a time to wake up, a view, i just find it so exciting and beautiful to have something new come into, or sometimes re-enter, my life that I can tell is going to shift everything just a little bit.
i love the feeling of new beginnings... the almost unlimited nature of them... no judgment just exploration... potential of discovery... oh yea that's my jam.. i wish i could approach everything in life like this..
Aromatic tea brewing in the morning; dropping freshly cut tomatoes in your eggs; that new lavender shampoo in your hair; good music in your ear. It's the little things that make day-to-day living more enjoyable.
The controllable variables must be. So many aspects of our existence are held hostage by the fists of fate. But I'll be damned if I can't romanticize my life by sprinkling some joy in it. If it's a Françoise Hardy song here or a new playlist there, you must bring excitement into your life.
the idea that there is something better, something new just around the corner is exactly what leaves us in a cycle of dissatisfaction and always wanting more than what we currently have. if you have a body that moves and breathes and a heart that loves deeply you don't need a change in routine, you just need to give your life your devoted attention. there's magic hidden in ordinary moments if you're really there to see it. the more you pay attention the more there is to see!
Holey shit I actually just love being a normie human !! This rocks fr, being famous sounds like a literal nightmare why is everyone so obsessed w it !!!
compliment the barista‘s cool jumper. the nice earrings the checkout chick is wearing. the colour of your cousins nail polish. stop it with the ‘you look great’ when people lose weight or ‘you look so much better’ when someone’s skin finally clears up. It’s 2025 and people deserve to ACTUALLY feel good when you give them a compliment.
