I love how time just doesn't exist in airports. like what it's 9am? sure get that plate of nachos and a margarita. time is a construct and so are meals
Kinda comfy feeling you get to wait with others read your book and play on your phone. kinda exhausting especially connecting flights but feels like your on an adventure:))
I love airports because they bring two of my favorite things together under one roof: people watching and “liminal spaces.” The lounge access is also a plus, though they really do be letting anyone in these days.
peculiar cross-section of people.
people dressed sweats, people dressed in suits. people sleeping face down across several seats, people engaging in lively conversation. people travelling alone, for business, for weddings, for funerals, for joy, for pain, or for no reason at all. a lawless, time stagnant place.
and to top it all off,

no thiel-bucks or weirdo outsider money, just a pure desire to make something fun and true to Perfectly Imperfect’s day one goal of helping people find new things from real human beings, not algorithms or AI
a pure labor of love that I’ve been quietly plotting for two years and it’s completely self-funded from my (rapidly) dwindling savings account
