I’ve had this mug for probably 20 years, it’s just one of those items that so well made and thoughtfully designed. The bottom brim keeps it steady next to me on the couch or bed, the handle has a little earlobe thing to rest on your middle finger so the actual hot mug doesn’t touch your skin, its big but not deep enough to make cleaning difficult and the hole on the handle is just small enough to keep a tea tag from falling through.

I love this mug most for drinking because of its comfort (I have so many cute mugs). It is slightly taller than an “average” mug and has a really comfortable and cool handle, I like its squareness. When I drink the foxy faces me. According to the bottom it’s an Ore’ Originals happy products for good people, just adds to the charm to me. A thrift store win!

Bought this beauty for $5 at thing-o-rama two years ago and it’s the best mug. It’s lumpy, uneven, the color is weird, but who can resist that smile?

I have an acquaintance whose personality I have always found grating and today I finally realized exactly what it is that I dislike so much: they pride themselves on being an ideal consumer. They get chuffed as fuck at how well marketing works on them to the point of being borderline braggadocious about how quickly and deliberately they react to advertising; even when they’ve been duped or scammed they admire the way they’ve been fooled.
It’s so cartoonishly American, they’re like a funhouse mirror that accentuates by own stupid fatso traits and stokes my most antisocial impulses. They say you should “let people enjoy things” but there’s got to be a healthier middle ground where my friend stops enjoying adding to their credit card debt to see every Ryan Reynolds movie in IMAX and I stop enjoying hating them for it.
