Fancy mushrooms (trumpet, maitake, and the like) taste so much better than basic ol’ criminis or baby bellas. At Costco they sell a gigantic box of them for 7 bucks, only $3 more than the teeny box at Whole Foods. Obviously not always convenient to go to Costco but if you’re there grab a box—it elevates everything (bonus tip that actually works: sautee dry without oil first to get them golden and crispy)

night showers are bittersweet

I really love feeling clean. But I also hate falling asleep with wet hair. But I can also just wear a beanie in the morning. And I know I won’t shower tomorrow if I put it off tonight. I want to feel clean.

I know Kevin posts his documentaries on YouTube but every single one has genuinely made me smile more than the last. He primarily focuses on theme parks, with the occasional deep dive into Disney shows and other children’s tv. Can’t recommend him enough. first one you watch has to be either the fast pass video or the Disney channel theme song creator video. Sucks that I essentially trained myself to sleep at the sound of his voice LOL
