Besides having David Attenborough as the narrator, it is just amazing to see how animals and plants throughout the entire continent have been able to overcome and adapt to modern changes as a result of global warming and human interventions. The shots are amazing, it feels so up-close and personal. It goes through all the different types of habitats and talks a lot about certain specializations animals have developed. It’s so cool, I’ve been watching it nonstop

As diurnal creatures we shouldn’t really know any of this stuff so it feels kind of voyeuristic (non sexually perverse) to watch but also evokes the full spectrum of human emotion. It’s half a decade old (2020) but feels very fresh because of all the new information it contains.
