I found out recently that every month’s full moon has a name. March’s is the Worm Moon! I love that! Top ten things humans have done. Last night was the lunar eclipse blood moon. This was the first one that reached totality since 2022. I went out to the local astronomical society meetup for the first time with my friend and it was so sick! Everybody was so nice and very willing to entertain my questions. They had some crazy gear. I will be back again especially after finding out that they’ll teach you how to use your telescope. I’ve had a Celestron that’s been gathering dust because I don’t know how to use it yet.

Such a fan of hearing older men nerd out about astronomy and the moon
One guy had a contraption that connected to his telescope and allowed you to see through the lens of your phone.
got this photo of our stunning gal in her full glory with craters out and all. 🥹
Love being reminded of how tiny and finite we are.

I’m casually big into space conspiracy / fringe science stuff (I don’t know anything I just love good lore) - Goddamn the moon is crazy. That shit rings like a bell anytime we crash anything into it. The craters on it are all of relatively uniform depth regardless of diameter. The dust on the surface is older than the rock underneath. It regulates the tides and seasons. It’s placed perfectly so we can experience eclipses - the probability of that being the case is so so so low - there’s no other moon/planet relationship we know of where that’s the case. There’s plenty of mythology that references times before the moon when weather patterns were unstable and a source of constant chaos. Some say it was put there to help stabilize the planet so we could continue to evolve ;) again I do not know jack shit about how anything actually works but mannnn is there some quality moon lore out there to dive into, cool af that something with such a huge effect on our lives is such a mystery, endless fun rabbit holes.

This specific butter. MMMPH. Okay the day I found out about this butter woah world stop… It’s full fat I believe so it’s very deliciously rich. It’s got some large salt crystals in it so there’s a bit of a texture there too. The flavor is impeccable. You can literally see marbling in the butter bruh. You gotta slice it like you would cheese though. I‘m talking about when you take a bite of your bread and butter, you see teeth marks on the butter. Yea...that part… You put the butter on the bread and it’s just good 😊 Also a little sweet treat that the French kids apparently have is some bread, butter, and dark chocolate. This butter is very nice for that. You can get it at like Vons and Pavillions and I think Ralph’s also. I wouldn’t cook with it though, it’s a bit pricier than typical butter. Tap in yall

My friend Maglia put me on to this. Literally so easy and goated and I’ve been consuming bread at a very rapid rate. 3 cups flour, 2 tsp salt, 1.5 cups warm water, 1 packet of yeast. Cover and proof for 2 hours. Preheat 445° oven. Flour and shape dough into round ball and cook in Dutch oven lined with parchment paper. (Lifehack for diy dutch oven, just use an oven safe pot and cover with a tray). 30 mins covered, 15 mins uncovered. I like to sprinkle some water onto the bread/pot right before it goes into the oven to create some steam in there. Scoring a square will give a good rise I feel. Also don’t knead it bc it will get spongy and dense. I like to err on the side of a dryer dough. YUM and less than 3 hours total.
