Usually I like to go on a walk around the block and pick up trash. But I found out about a local group (wocleanup.org) that gathers monthly to clean up different spots in my district. Maybe there’s groups like these where you live. You can meet your neighbors, learn stuff, get outside, maybe find a nickel on the ground.
Just throw some gloves and plastic bags in your bag. You start out feeling like there's trash all around you and you'll never keep up, but after a little bit you'll run out of places to pick up.
Eliminate the need for trash bags or massive, gas-guzzling garbage trucks!
Everything is ending up on the ground anyway.
Cut out the middle man and drop your trash wherever you happen to be walking.
I don’t need to label everything or figure everything out!
