Read this because i really love his movies and i recommend it to any other charlie kaufman fans. It’s told from the point of view of a super unlikable narrator which might be a turn off for some but if that interests you then this book is really funny and really insane with a million different things going on. a must read if you like his movies💯

The short story King. He began his career writing short stories for magazines while he worked as a copywriter at GM. He hated this job and used some themes from GM that he found to create satirical short stories. Many of them are quite dystopian and science fiction, which I don't normally like but there's a way Kurt Vonnegut writes that makes certain stories that wouldn't otherwise interest me totally enthralling. He's funny, satirical, provocative, and relatable in a lot of ways. Go read it! Vonnegut isn't an author you've never heard of, but this is definitely something worth reading.

This was the book that got me completely into Vonnegut. It's a relatively easy read and keeps you at the edge of your seat. If you like it I recommend you to read more of his work! All of his books have re-occurring characters, themes, and settings that really immerses you into his world.

kurt vonnegut specifically! i had read sirens of titan and cat's cradle, and just finally finished slaughterhouse five and its really one of the best pieces of media i've ever consumed. he writes in a way that makes even surreal or science fiction novels feel like a direct portrait of his own mind and the human mind in general; vonnegut's life, thoughts, feelings, and conscious bleed onto his pages in a way i don't believe any other artist really comes close to. an author i would recommend to truly anybody!

Different Stars by Trespassers William It’s somewhere between country and dream pop. Like ambient twangy guitar music Any of Will Oldham’s music He’s got a bunch of different aliases but they’re all good. Days in the wake and viva last blues are my favorite albums. Silver Jews American Water and The Natural Bridge are both really good. Emmylou Harris She’s just goated.

1M54 - All Breaks Loose I Suppose Youtube description says it came out in 1997 and that the band is Belgian. Kinda feels like if bjork and dean blunt made an album and recorded it on a tape machine
