Watched this movie every single weekend at my nana’s house because she had it saved to her dvr. Gave me an extreme desire for independence at a very young age (it has carried me through to today!) and inspired me to make pancakes (waffles) on my own every week as a spry 6 year old.

🌊i watched mamma mia every weekend for two years straight from age 8-10 because i was at boarding school (long story) and there was literally no one else my age who stayed over the weekends i would just watch movies especially mamma mia - anyway it’s really cheered me up in some not so happy times and i appreciated both as a kid and now that i’m older and can understand the jokes - i’m also swedish so i cannot resist abba

🖼My dad loves ferris bueller’s day off and oceans eleven. ive watched both upwards of a dozen times and can now quote them back and forth with him.
Meanwhile, my mom loves pride and prejudice (2006) and four weddings and a funeral.

not my parents but my GREAT GRANDPARENTS love this movie so much. growing up they would tell me the password to get into their house is "i got the munchies real bad"

🌅I allow myself to move through ny life at breakneck speed in order to get to the next “thing”— whether thats a job, life stage, relationship, goal, etc.. i have been doing this since I was 15. It wasn’t until this last summer/fall that I stopped to look around at the life I had built and fully feel everything! I enrolled in a grad program 2 years ago, at the encouragement of my partner, and this past fall I really started to see myself in this career. I feel energized by my work and research, I feel cared for by my department. I feel like a fulfilling career is awaiting me, yet I am taking the time to feel settled in my current service job and internship, careful not to rush past the mundanity and sweetness of my life now. I have everything ahead of me, truly what is my hurry?

🥣I used to love it and I forgot about it for years until I went to my parents house where my mom was stocked up on ot. Every morning for breakfast I have a bowl of cottage cheese with a blended apple (think like fresh apple sauce) and cinnamon and go to town! Keeps me full most of the morning which is great because getting hungry right after breakfast when I am on the run is not fun
