I literally never eat or buy this stuff on my own but whenever I visit my parents they always seem to have some on hand. But let me tell you, a bowl of Cinnamon Toast Crunch (it’s a taste you can see!) or Cocoa Puffs goes absolutely silly hard a handful of times a year maybe.

I ate so much cereal as a kid. I would have it almost every day when I got home from school. These days at 29 when I have a midday cereal snack it brings me back to those blissful moments when you just get home from school and watch some tv before starting your homework. Lately I’ve been putting freeze dried cherries in my cereal and it’s DELICIOUS. I love cereal for dessert too!

museums are good for the winter cold, they aren't super cheap but the art institute and the field museum are so magical and worth it :) the museum of contemporary art is cheap to enter and i believe the national museum of mexican art is free! if you're into poetry, poetry foundation has a free library and occasionally holds readings or workshops

fun sweet emotional poetry book about an angel who comes down to earth and has a relationship with a man from the suburbs. the whole book is basically back and forth conversation, it's a super quick read, and it's so so good
