Snails are completely overlooked. They're known for being slimy little bugs that eject goo, when they're actually fascinating creatures. For example, they have thousands of teeth on their tongue! If you have a fish tank, adopt a few snails for it. They love eating all the gunk, and they're super cute in doing so. #StartAppreciatingSnails2025

In the past year I have developed an extreme love for amphibious and mollusk-esque creatures. I don’t know where this comes from, but I have seriously considered purchasing a tank for either a pet frog or a giant snail. If it wasn’t for my touring schedule and the fact that my amphibious tank would inherently become someone else’s problem, I would already be a frog mom by now.

I think about these guys all the time Fun fact: Some sea slugs can steal the genes from other things. Some steal from plants to create their own energy via chlorophyll! Others steal nematocysts (stinging cells) from jellyfish so they can sting predators!! They’re squishy little thieves!!!

Why is it that some of my best writing occurs at 2 am when all I can hear are the crickets outside?! There's this rush of motivation, and then the writing turns out better than anything you write while fully awake. I think I'm getting possessed.

Haven't seen it yet, but it's nominated for an Oscar. It's a black and white Danish film that seems to mix horror with history. It has a 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, and the people I know who have watched it loved it.
