my mom used to make them most saturdays and now i’ve taken to making them and they’ve become my favorite weekend ritual. i use a coffee scoop to make them silver dollar sized and this morning i used some blackberries that were looking a little sad and simmered them with maple syrup and it was so yummy ♡
spent my teens and 20s riding for waffles, but i think i was wrong. pancakes have more mods available, and i never let them sit long enough to get syrup-logged.
i like mine with buttermilk and blueberries.
i do this like once every year it’s a website where people can write anonymous notes to whoever they want i look up my name and see if any of those notes apply to me it’s fun
