pancakes

my mom used to make them most saturdays and now i’ve taken to making them and they’ve become my favorite weekend ritual. i use a coffee scoop to make them silver dollar sized and this morning i used some blackberries that were looking a little sad and simmered them with maple syrup and it was so yummy ♡

spent my teens and 20s riding for waffles, but i think i was wrong. pancakes have more mods available, and i never let them sit long enough to get syrup-logged. i like mine with buttermilk and blueberries.

popcorn

sometimes i just feel like snacking but im not really craving anything or actually hungry i bought a microwabable popcorn popper and just buy a bit tub of popcorn. sometimes i add salt, other times i just eat them plain, you dont even need oil, you can eat handfulls of plain popcorn without feeling guilty
